Machin Kurta Muyu
Capuchin Monkey Testicle Tree
This tree is so named because its fruit resembles monkey balls. According to the Kichwa narrator the tree only bears fruit every 4 years or so. The fruit is not eaten by any bird or animal because it is bitter or perhaps poisonous (as some other Euphorbiaceae species are)
